this song is for my mom,she died while i was talking to her on the phone,she was asking me to come home coz i was in the states,after i told her that im coming within 3 days then she closed her eyes.i guess she just wanted the assurance that im coming home even if shes gone.but i regret it,i wish i could have just came home soon so at least i could say goodbye to her..love you mom..i terribly miss you..

I love this song but it saddens me. My dad sang this during my grandparent's 50th anniversary. At that time it seemed to me that he was singing it towards my mom, unknowingly. He was looking at her with so much love and sort of showing off his vocals to my mom, which was so cute and she was looking at him. My mom died 5 days later and I always associate this song to that day my dad sang it.
