An air raid has shattered a forward operational base and a training facility of the sea tigers. (15/02/2008)

The Sri Lanka Air Force carried out the raid at around 8.30 this morning. Air Force Spokesman Wing Commander Andy Wijesuriya said the targeted base was located at Nayaru in the Mulaitivu District. He said the fighter jets took the targets following air surveillance carried out during the last two days. Fighter pilots have confirmed that the raid was successful.
