When Sonic finds a *real* CRT monitor. (A 20th anniversary tribute)

Our spikey hero tries to do something that he is very used to: breaking monitors. What he didn't realize is that he was in real life. Poor Sonic, now he needs the help of a sledgehammer... I swear this is not free advertising for Samsung oO.

This video is my very simple and lighthearted tribute to Sonic's 20th anniversary and the upcoming Sonic Generations (which already looks awesome).

PS: This lazy production is the result of extreme boredom mixed with plenty of free time. It is also in low light condition and upscaled from 480i widescreen to 720p, hence the extremely bad video quality.

Continuing: The only real problem with filming this was that the lighting inside my room is very bad (you can clearly notice it), and the camera itself had a crappy quality regardless of setting, but it got the job done. Editing this was a breeze, no fancy effects, just color bars and beeps. I was thinking about putting sound effects from the Mega Drive classics, but I went with the "real life" motif and kept them out. I'll wait for more gems (no pun intended) that come out in this section ^^.

Just a little curiosity: this video is part of another video. It's a half-hour documentary about the history of videogames, but it's pretty basic stuff, not intended to be posted here. I knew that 2011 is Sonic's 20th, and one of the anniversary images (Modern Sonic posing next to a monitor that shows Classic Sonic) is where the idea came from. (Continued)
