Ooh-la-la! If you love beautiful girls, head on over the the Moulin Rouge Theatre in Oakland, California! It's an evening of Snappy, Spicy, Socko Adult Entertainment featuring shapely strippers and dance-happy dolls! Joining the gals is the baggy-pants comedy of ace funsters GEORGE "Beetlepuss" LEWIS, CHARLIE CRAFTS, and LITTLE JACK LITTLE! There's the old spiking of the punch bowl gag; baseball comedy skits, and a MAN proudly wearing pasties (!?) See the lovely ladies parade onstage in an overwhelming display of their collective charms and beauty! - Something Weird

  • Actually, color film was available in the 1910's, and there were a few silent movies made in color, or had at least a scene or two in color. But like you said, most producers could not afford it since it was expensive. Black and White was a cheaper option that most directors were stuck with until the 1960's.

  • gay? far from it lol

  • @lizylinconhauntedhou

Wow, you were right on target! The actual year turned out to be 1951! Nicely done again, thanks!

  • @timrprobocom

Ah-ha, I thought it was somewhere around there. Thanks.

  • @thesilverspider, 1951.

  • This film claims to be "gay", but it appears to be pretty hetero to me.

  • @babydollkiller LOL I second that! :)

  • @Persphonefallen Back then gay ment "having or showing a merry, lively mood: gay spirits; gay music. ..." not what it currently means which is prefering same sex. interesting how much a words definition can change things in movies or whatnot over time...

and this movie is definetly lively in mood ;)

  • What? I can't bring my kids to this latest Disney picture?

  • the days from the past

  • that was smart and sophisicated
