Awesome stuff!!!
Funny how the reporter tells Loeb how many see him as a future World Champion and he just says "I hope." Haha I bet even he didn't hope for 7 straight titles. :)
People always talk about golden ages, and usually they only mention 4-5 years, but IMO the WRC's golden age was from 1984-2005. Even though 2007 and 2009 were fantastic from a championship point of view, the cars aren't spectacular like they used to be. We still have great drivers in the WRC, though.

Early 2000s... I think it was a Golden Age of WRC. I was at high school and my young teenage brain was so much impressed by those crazy cars. That time WRC was almost as popular as F1. Cars you could see everyday in the street racing though common landscapes. And of course tight title fight, unlike F1, where Shumacher was kicking ass of everybody. Seems so long ago now.

They just had to predict it. Now look what's happened. He continuously wins every WRC event and now it has gotten boring.

make it 6..

People were begining to say that Sebatien Loeb would be world Champion one day, no one predicted that he would be 5 times world champion, 5 titles in a row!
-
Even when Gronholm was still racing, Loeb would always slightly edge him out.
I think Loeb has that ability... to be able to rise to the competition he has to face.

I think Loeb's victories come thanks to Gronholm's departure. It's his consistency, a good car, and perhaps the lack of power sliding that puts him above the rest.
cheers m8, top notch as allways

Funny how Loeb can just drive at record speeds on his first rally without any drama.
