I just love all these dumb reporters, ignoring more than 3/4 of the series. They barely realize Star Trek is more than the stuff they made in the '50's and 60's. Even Star Trek Enterprise had more episodes than the Original Series did....

I saw it 4 times in theaters. I think as a sci-fi film, it's absolutely amazing. As a Star Trek film... I can see why there were some disappointed fans.

Hopefully the sequel is much better because the point of a sequel is to make it much better than tge original-better story,action, and much more entertaining. But I love this one.

I'm a new Star Trek fan and it totally worked for me. I've seen the six other films now (the ones with the TOS cast) and lots of episodes. I <3 Star Trek!
