Daley Plaza was the location as the City of Chicago officially kicked off the holiday season with the 99th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 20, 2012, as well as the opening of Christkindlmarket Chicago. A cappella group Gentleman's Rule serenaded those in attendance with holiday favorites before the tree was lit.
