Mess at Prestwick Airport

Not every flight is a good one :-)

Not 100% sure what happened here. I think I had too great a decent rate, landed nose first and the rear gear came crashing down and broke. Not sure, I might just have clipped something at the side of the runway. Either way, i made a big mess on the tarmac.

Weather was set to stormy and (despite me saying before that I'd keep the scenary detail high) I dropped the graphics to low in order to have 15fps in FRAPS.

I'd saved it not long after take off and when I crashed it auto-loaded the save. This meant I couldn't analyse replays :-(

Anyway, see what you think.

Poor Dewed, and i mean that lol, you came in a little to fast and it looks like you were fighting your Joystick. Same thing happened to me till i got a yoke. You did good. :)

I've been tempted by a yoke for a long time now :) Wife would kill me if I bought one at the moment though :(

Finally convinced the wife that a yoke is essential ;-)

Bought the saitek one. What a difference to flying, its great! Completely different to a joystick.

u were 2 fast u should go slower and y u movin the plane alot keep it against the cross the wind at all times

Yes, I think you are right, but crashes should not make the plane go under the runway :) I still maintain I'd have got it down except for a bug that pulls the plane underground sometimes.

Not sure the bug still exists. this was before SP1.

Too fast, dont heave the stick all over the place - light gentle movements. If you drift sideways use your rudder to hold on the centre line, and then kick it straight at 50 feetish, dont try and turn into it you might not recover from wing down. and DONT pull the nose up when on finals, when you have correct approach attitude. Other than that smile it was only a game !!!!!!!

Ne way it wasn't a bug that u crashed lol it was you and in virtual cockpit u cud see that u were moving the joystick or whatever u av too much. Not surprised you crashed!
