  • Hi Doc. I was wondering if you've ever run across a juice that kills every carto or atty that you put it in? I have its delicious but after 2 or 3 refills it kills my equipment. Any suggestions? Other juices don't do this to me by the way so I don't think its operator error.

  • @ccrotts

That is possible. I have some juices that need a dedicated atty because the flavor lingers in the atty and will not come out even with cleaning. That is just something e-cig users need to get used to.

  • 2 questions 1. I've heard nicotine is no more or less harmful than caffeine true or not? 2. I was diagnosed with pleurisy 5 mths ago and could not quit smoking even tho it hurt ALOT to smoke. I've been using my DSE 901 for 53 days now and no more pain.....does this mean the pleurisy is gone?

  • @Hcoleman919

Reply will be in 2 parts.

I don't diagnose over the internet. However I can tell you a few things about Pleurisy. It is an inflammation of the membrane surrounding the lungs and can be caused by a number of things including infections, immune disorders, diseases, injury and drug reactions just to name a few. Your pulmonologist can tell you about your current condition. Your lack of symptoms (pain) is probably is probably because the vapor is less irritating than tobacco smoke.

  • @Hcoleman919 You should continue all treatments recommended by your medical doctor and never make assumptions about the health of your lungs. See your pulmonologist often and follow their instructions for your care.

  • @Hcoleman919

Nicotine in small doses is not harmful to humans. In larger doses it is EXTREMELY Toxic and can kill you quickly. Nicotine can be absorbed threw the skin and can poison you. Nicotine is commonly used as an insecticide. Nicotine should be treated as you would treat any other toxic chemical. However, in the doses commonly found in e-cigs, it's not a problem.

  • What's with the distracting music? Turn it down man.

  • @CandCBoy What kind of battery are you using from V2? You could have a faulty one. I find V2 to have the best batteries, both Manual and Automatic, they last long and are sooo extremely easy to draw. But to answer you question, V2 lists the size of the cartos 'screw on' part for screwing into batteries. aside from the size listed, they also sell an adapter for people with your problem. blog.v2cigs(dot)com/2011/08/the-compatibility-king-v2-cigs-launches-v2-universal-adapters/

  • I'm new to the e cig community, but I'm very impressed with the V2 cartomizers. Although I'm not so impressed with V2 battery prices. Are there any cheaper batteries that are compatible with V2 cartomizers? And will these cheaper batteries still be able to produce the same vapor as V2 batteries?

  • Hi Doctor Vapor. I like your vids a lot. Do you have experience with the eGo megas? I have no idea how to clean these cartomizers.
