I was gonna say the exact same thing - it is completely unexpected as I thought her single would be really lighthearted, but it somehow seems perfectly appropriate considering the harsh times people are experiencing. She can do no wrong! =)

That is exactly when I laugh at God. I mean, awesome song, but if we can't laugh during a tragedy, then fuck life. Plus it's one of my pet peeves when people are suddenly nicer to somebody because they need something from them.

What does the song mean?

Is it like, people generally just laugh at the idea of 'God' because it seems so ridiculous but when in times like the one's Regina's describing, people need to believe in a higher power, something that's there with them, so in those situations, no one is laughing at God because they..need him/it?

That probably sounded ridiculous. Fail.
