  • I always tell people that the most important thing is to just start planting. Are they compost bins in the back ground, or raised garden beds?

My big garden breakthrough was putting everything under dripperlines and setting up an automatic watering system.

  • Learn you "NPK" soil chemistry. That's Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potasium. Google it.

  • You are meant to use a Seaweed water-soluble solution, or a fish emulsion.

  • I got free manure from posting on Craigslist in the gardening section that I wanted it. Horse owners here just want to get rid of it for shoveling it yourself.

  • LOL @ the "rank" cat, hahaha...im having terrible luck w/garden due to the grasshoppers and the heat...i have been watering every evening and tried using that spray u make, christen but it seems to discolor my plants, i used the dried chilis as thats all the store had, and i used real garlic, and a bit of soap and let it sit a wk..those grasshoppers are just militant! i hate 'em!

  • keen video, lol

  • Hi, may I ask, do you put the sugar solution on flower as well as vegetable transplants? And how many times?
