There are so many people in the world trying to stop this xenophobia from happening. Here is a times article about an anti-armenian genocide DVD that was shown in public schools. Pretty disturbing shit.

That was decided by the heads of the Turkish state, not by a mere colonel or a major in a town somewhere in Turkey, that would be massacre. If you do not want people to hate you even now, the least you can do, is to admit your crimes. Like the Germans did in WW2. In Europe nations are proud of their cultural achievements.

@3choBlaster Massacres? What massacres? The Greek junta and EOKA B turned against the Greek Cypriots primarily. Anyway the Turks did a lot worst things in Cyprus than the Greeks. This is why the Turkish invasion has been condemned dozens of times by UN. We are no angels but we are a lot better than you when it comes to human rights. Istanbul is just the Greek expression "to the City"-"is tin Poli". It is not even a new name. Because for the Greeks "the City" was Constantinople. If the Turks had murdered 1.500.000 Greeks instead I would have made sure, that in my country there would be no Turk left.
