from what ive seen, the picture quality suffers greatly with less light. have you found this to be true?

it has a built in mic, which is pretty poor quality, but still, does the job for some things.

This is excellent technology for this, it looks good. There was no audio component, though, unless I missed it.

I'm fairly annoyed they haven't fixed some of the key issues, but I still use it.

I'm not really bothered by the low-light performance. Quality does degrade a bit, but you're starting with a fairly grainy distorted picture to begin with, so a little more noise doesn't have that much of an impact-- in my opinion. :)
