Yea right lol. The porn industry could not afford blu-ray when it came out, the movie industry were the ones who pushed for it and it seems to be working. Do people still buy porn on disks?

@MrPowerLvler Deja-vu!? something like that is exactly what happened with Betamax vs VHS. Porn videos at the time were mostly recorded on VHS, google it too!
Early Camcorders were only available on VHS so it was easier and cheaper to edit and copy them in VHS.If you wanted to tape in Betamax you had to get a camera, a VCR,maybe a monitor, and a power source for all of them.

Blu-Ray only got ahead because most intelligent people started streaming instead ... and downloading ... and burning their own DVD's, or whatever. So the DVD demand dropped to the same level as Blu-Ray's fad sales. However, it's not really better than DVD anyway, as stated, it costs more than it's worth, it's just another toy.
