they need to stop wrestling and rolling around the floor he says he wants to be limitless and have no restraints on his practice but he continually operates under a set of rules that dnt exist he doesnt even realize hes doing it... its very aggrovating this is not martial arts, hes practicing sports for self defense and has lost sight of the reality but sadly hes not the only one.

To us, Hapkido is actually a philosophy of "coordinating power", not an individual martial art. It was started by a few guys in Korea around 1958 at a brewery. They had previously studied Aikijiujitsu, Judo etc... and decided to "coordinate their efforts".
