The Academy Award-winning song from Disney's 1994 animated film The Lion King, composed by Elton John with lyrics by Tim Rice. It was described by Don Hahn (the film's producer), Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff (the film's directors) as having "the most diverse history" in the film. It was a chart hit in the UK, peaking at #14 on the UK Singles Chart, and achieved even more success in the USA, reaching a peak of #4 on the Billboard Hot 100.

no offence to all stars but this is true talent right here i know i am only 12 but i feel i have been growing up listening to elton john and now i know for sure i have been from the loin king and the muppets! like this if u grow up with elton too!! <3

@willgagne12 one of those people holding up the lyrics is my mother. her and her friends have gone to over 200 shows individually. that was their way of saying that they are true fans. :)
