The swamp in April

This was taken in mid-April, and spring peepers, the tiniest of frogs, had just started to sing again in the swamp I love. The frogs had been singing, but stopped when I came along. Here I was waiting for them to start up again, to try to capture that on video.

The camera is a little unsteady because I have two dogs on leashes yanking at my arm, not understanding why we are standing still so long.
