his voice doesn't fit that heavy rock :)
on record it works, live it sounds weird - probably thats why his band wasn't successful and he had to try out for Idol

Why has Michael dropped singing songs like this? It fits his voice so well and sounds so coooool and hot at the same time. His "soulful, bluesy" sound is fine and great for the American Idol stage, but this sound is perfect for him, too. Mix it up, Michael.

Michael's brand new CD Single, "Heart On My Sleeve", just came out on iTunes TODAY, so exciting!!! I'm so happy for Michael, he's got a great future ahead!!!

i luv this song!! he seems a bit nervous, which is understandable.. his voice is more controlled now :)

He sounds kinda different. Not bad, just... different. He kinda sounds *and looks* like Constantine Moroulis in this video.
