  • @asafer0 HitFilm works with a wide variety of video formats. Full info is over at the HitFilm website.

  • great job. the only problems are that it seems too sharp and there are no shadows. I use AE, so I dunno if you can even do shadows in FXHome.

  • You can indeed do shadows. This clip was created many years ago. :) Check out our channel for some of our more recent stuff.

  • You need to add shadows, also your edges are way too soft. Try adding some edge blur around the matte, so you can keep your edges hard but have some of the BG peek through. Good luck honing your skills.

  • Thanks for the tips. :) We did this a fair few years back (the clip itself is much older than it's 2007 upload date), hence it being a bit primitive.

  • wow, you did a good job, i brought a greenscreen but sony vegas is pretty bad for chroma keying
