NS 6596 leads a long freight across Glass Factory Bay Rd just south of Geneva, NY along Seneca Lake.
The Norfolk Southern Corning Secondary follows the lake shore and NY 14 from just north of Himrod, NY to Geneva, NY. NY 14 continues to follow the mainline all the way to the CSX interchange in Lyons NY. In addition to Norfolk Southern the Finger Lakes Railway has trackage rights from Lyons through Geneva to Himrod.
Glass Factory Bay is one of many small roads that cross the tracks to access the waterfront houses.

I have acottage on White's Point. I remember when they started reusing that line. When I was little I would always look for gray on the trakcs even though they didn't use them; my Dad was like "they're not just gonna start using them again" but I was excited to see anyway. Then, one time, there was gray.
