  • listening to his music changed my life and i think it will change yours too

if you get you hands on the right recording by bley it is some of the best and most modern music you will ever hear - you will find in the longrun that taking the time and money to explore his music is well worth it and will open your ears to a new world of sounds

  • he took the lonely man theme from hulk!!

  • He lives in my hometown. I talked to him one night at a bar, I didn't know who he was, at first. One of the most inspiring people you could ever meet! Take a trip to Cherry Valley.

  • This video indeed prooves what Mr Banacos says about how many ways there are to play a note on the piano. Thank you for who posted this!

  • Awesome,, theme from the incredible Hulk @ 1: 05 , very original player, influenced Jarrett, Lyle Mays, Brad Mehladau, he makes Atonal, free music quite 'easy ' to digest, he uses strong rhythms/ memorable motifs in his improvisation.

  • beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Mazurka1001...I agree, nothing like new age!!!

  • one of the most honest interpretations I saw at least in a year.

now i see where jarret drunk from

  • Amazing stuff from the legendary Paul Bley, who was once married to Carla Bley who kept his name all these years. And no, it is not "new age", it was called the "new thing" in the 50's and 60's when Bley played with Ornette and Charlie Haden in Los Angeles at the birth of musical whirlwind that included the likes of Coltrane and Cecil Taylor. Now it's "avant garde". Thankfully, most of it was recorded and is still available.

  • i love this so much and it seriously help me through rough times and i recorded it on vhs 8 years ago and now found it .... best day ever

  • Fabulous !!!!!Thanks

  • stunning and beautiful -melancholy
