  • @misselissisme you are blaming the unions for stuff that is the fault of the bosses.

  • wow- you guys undid the bailout... right? oh no wait, bank of america rewrote contracts with you? oh no wait...they bought you back in... of course (who would not be "compelled to do the right thing".... after you harassed people minding their own business & pulled managers out of meetings) I'm convinced you were sold out- so fucking what? when its one for all- you get screwed especially if that 1 happens to be a union extorting American Tax Payers now that they ran manufacturing out of USA

  • Workers of all lands unite.

  • I'm UE. We are an independent rank and file union. At least in my local, our stewards don't get any pay or compensation for their hard work, much less a cut of our check. Our dues are tiny, and are more than made up for by the increases in compensation and benefits we have won since unionizing. There are no fatcats in our union, the president and leadership make no more than workers in the union. Hell, just last week we got to vote on the president's salary.

  • Want to know why there are half the conferences at McCormick Pl. as there were 5 years ago?

     UNIONS !!

The electricians plug in lights at $40 an hr.

They have priced themselves out of a job. That means $billions out of Chicago's economy.

    Money for food mortgages,WINDOWS!

Blame your union brothers for your foreclosure not those who kept you employed long enough to get the mortgage.

Leave the working mans hero crap to the steward who takes a cut of your check.

  • I'm a ex-worker the republic windows & doors, and I want to thank you to my brothers and sisters, for your support and solidarity.

  • A strike isn't complete without the internationale being played in the background.

  • Direct action gets the goods! Way to go Wobblies. I'm certain the national solidarity shown by several groups, including the IWW, was a big factor in getting the bank to cough up the cash.
