This old Christian hymn is traditionally sung at Thanksgiving time in the United States. It would actually serve well for believers world wide, as every day is a day for giving thanks to our God Most High. He forgets not HIs own.

First time I ever heard this hymn was on an episode of The West Wing, one of their earlier Thanksgiving episodes, sung by children, and I've been in love with it ever since.

When I try to share this, instead of a thumbnail of the video or the name of the hymn and Celtic Women, it has a capcha image and a generic youtube 'title' Do you know why?

Wow, I love the pictures of the families. I miss my family so much. Ok, I admit that I got tears in my eyes right at the beginning with the shot of the four women in the kitchen. Those days will come again when my own children and their little families join me in the kitchen when I am old. Until then... thanks for this lovely song.
