The whole Tibet thing is horrible. I haven't been keeping up with the news lately but from the little I know this is horrible! Even in ancient Greece there was a war ceasefire when the Olympic Games were on. I think your choice of boycotting the Olympic Games this year is very wise. I might do it too.

oh, totally. they said they'd let me know today, or Monday. i hate waiting so i hope it's today! :-) yeah - it's just not right to celebrate so much when such awfulness is happening. everyone can do what they want, but I won't be watching ;-)
