yeah Pete has jazz influences, i read abt it in his bio. Eric is indeed more hard rock. Most KISS fans would kill me for saying i think Eric is every bit as good as Peter; in fact on some songs i actually like his style more. Y'all can kick me but i stand by my opinion. they are both great in their own right, kay

@firemage1986 I'm an absolute Kiss die hard, but I'm not musically retarded either, Peter cant even hold a candle to either of the Erics...Just like Ace is nowhere near is good as Bruce...but I would still much rather see Ace in the band than Tommy

Eric Singer is a great drummer,however he IS NOT the Catman. For that matter Tommy Thayer IS NOT the Spaceman. They need to create their own characters!

i assure you, sir, that i do know quite well who gene krupa was. my drum teacher is also a jazz drummer, but i consider myself to be a prog rock/prog metal drummer. a good teacher teaches no specific style. a good teacher will teach a student techniques and allow them to apply them to their personal style. and i have a feeling that of all teachers up there, gene krupa ranked pretty high.
