Action Comics an Detective Comics reboot Superman and Batman with new #1s! Are they reasons to start reading comics again?

DC's New 52 continues with reboots of the two most historic comic book series of all time: Action Comics and Detective Comics. Do Jeff, Dan, and Alex like the new creative teams and direction, or is it just more of the same?

  • Shame they didn't look at all of the books in a quick fire review. Animal Man and Swamp Thing were way better than anything else that came out that week.

  • Something I've said for years Morrison>>>>>>>>Johns!

  • I'm new to comics so is it a big deal if I don't get the first print of a comic book ?

  • I was and still am opposed to this historic renumbering of Detective Comics,(#1 1937), Action Comics (# 1 1938), Superman (#1, 1939) and Batman (#1, 1940), especially Detective and Action. DC should have at least kept a dual numbering system for these titles, when you have titles that have been published for MORE THAN SEVENTY YEARS, they deserve special priveleges and exceptions, the original numbering should have been kept, these titles (unless extrordinary bad sales) should never b cancelled

  • Love the new 52

  • psst. read animal man. thick as FUCK!

  • I dislike Dan today hahaha I LOVE the new 52

  • Neither of these guys have big enough tits to be reviewing comics.

  • @QSwordFish I like Animal Man as well. But when did Superman join forces with the FREEKIN Swamp thing????DUHH!! Superman rules

  • @QSwordFish

agree. Swamp thing and Animal Man surprise us.

  • @berggonecrazy yeah i realized that after posting, detective came first but batman didnt appear until after action comics and superman
