Severe Thunderstorm Warning & Sirens: Jasper, Indiana 5/23/11 (Federal Signal DSA)

Sirens Start around 3:20. Like the last activation (4/19/11), the DSA sounds wail tone, while (very oddly) the nearby 2001-DCs sounds alert/steady tone. This is the first time I have ever heard the nearby 2001s sound alert tone as they normally sound attack, even for a (very tense) severe thunderstorm warning.

At around 5:00 Eastern Standard Time a round of severe thunderstorms capable of strait-line winds hit Dubois County. During the storm severe weather sirens were activated due to the possibility of damaging strait-line winds.

Usually a Severe Weather uses Alert while air raids uses Wail. but some cities are different.

i am on the vol fd in my area and a weather spotter for my county and theres one of them sirens across from my house they are loud as hell when it starts off but she wakes my ass up so does my pager when i got to bug out lol
