I have a Himalayan! He looks a lot like Mr. Jinx from Meet the Parents, but his fur is a little lighter brown.

I don't think my boyfriend's Himalayan got the memo that he was supposed to be a laid-back lap cat. Yeah, he likes to be around people, but he gets annoyed if you pet him and he's not in the mood for it, and he loves to run, climb and claw the furniture. Still love him to death though! Also, I've noticed that Gus (the himmie) seems to be floppier than other cats I've met. That is, even though he doesn't like to be picked up, he flops more whereas other cats will tense up and struggle.

They are so cute I remember watching Cats 101 on TV and falling in love with the Himalayan. I've always known I was a cat person and when I'm older after completing my schooling I plan to get one!
