The Way You Look Tonight, Matthew Stone on Tenor and Soprano Sax

A duet! great tune, hope you like it...... I enjoy doing these duets when I get time. The process of recording for youtube is not like in a studio, it has to be a continuos "live" performance with no drop-ins, or retaking of sections, or you would see it in the video. Luckily these were both first takes!! I think recording for youtube makes me a better player, on tricky tunes it can take 30 retakes, I might fluff an ending, or make a mistake in the head at the end of the tune, frustrating but very good practice! Thanks for all the kind comments, really appreciated!

Great duet. Just a quick question: how did you obtain the split screen effect?

@jimmyblackjazz I use an iMac, it comes with imovie11, and this is standard within the package, you have to look hard though (drag one clip over the other, and then choose split screen, you then have to add a "flip" effect to one side or "we" both face the same way) I record the audio separately into Logic using a proper mic and audio interface. I mute the audio from both video clips (taken using the iMac camera) and add my logic recording as a soundtrack
