White-Belled Canary (dorsostriatus)

Found in Africa in the E & NE of the continent,Tanzania,through Kenya. There are 2 races in Kenya the northern race(Maculicollis)is distinguished from southern race(drsostriatus)by having more white below extending to the under tail-coverts in the southern race crissum is (Yellowish).A very pretty bird,It`s song is lighter,delicate & more airy at a higher pitch,than a Green Singing Finch. Alot of chopping & trills of rolls.Known to take a year to get into full song.This fellow is about 4 months old.Thank God For The Birds.
