I can still hear Bob Wilson through the static on that distant AM station while sitting in my dorm room. And then Park scored in over time. There was about 2 minutes after that goal where Bob didn't say anything -- just let the roaring crowd do it for him. Like a pro he knew when silence was better.

Cusick was outstanding, but the Bruins were blessed with TWO immortals in their broadcasts - Cusick did TV while Bob Wilson handled the radio calls.

FRED CUSICK was and will aiways be the voice of the Boston Bruins...he was simply the best!!
