Loughborough Allnighter 87ish? .Leicester Oddfellows and Stafford TOTW just closed :(
Tony Clayton (Mr Lucky Charms) on the decks!
Good venue (not as good as the 2 above though!!) as I remember, although only lasted a couple of years to my memory.
Anyway still buying the vinyl...costing me a bloody fortune!
If you got a copy of Main Change for sale google me and email me!

  • This is an AMAZING piece of western culture I know nothing about. And i have been immmersed in music my whole 50 yr old life

  • still got my membership card. great memories.

  • Friggin hell - The Rev!! I knew Tony from The Back Street Soul Club events in Norwich, back in the mid 80's. Great guy - sent me original copies of Evie Sands' - Picture Me Gone & The Marvelettes - I'll Keep On Holding On and always dropped James Bounty - Prove Yourself A Lady. (Who'd love to say hi, but no facebook page)

  • @soulechoes I have seriously considered doing a CESC Leicester Oddfellows Veterans patch, based on the 1st Anniversary logo (the Leicester City cinquefoil) and the dates. I know it started in 83, but when was the last? De'ye think it'd sell? And is the old Allnighter Club of Great Britain also gone now?

  • Wow !! Nina I haven't seen her for years.... Hi Nina Mark from Bedford

  • @soulechoes Spent many a Saturday flicking through boxes and boxes of Northern soul 45s in his shop. Back in the rearly 80s.
