Here's the 75 Gallon tank again and since my last video, I've added a school of 9 Bloodfin Tetras and I also added a different species of silver dollar tetra. Its different looking than my 6 common silver dollars but I'm not quite sure what species it is because it was mixed in the regular silver dollar tank at the fish store...I'm thinking it's one of the Red Hook species, but I'll know for sure once it grows larger. I also finally moved the senegal bichir out of this tank because he was really starting to chase/hunt the smaller fish so I got him into another tank before he ate any fish.

Current fish Stock:

- 1 Common Pleco
- 1 Blood Parrot Cichlid
- 1 Firemouth Cichlid
- 1 Snakeskin Gourami
- 7 Silver Dollar Tetras (6 Common Silver Dollars, and 1 Red Hook Silver Dollar)
- 5 Tiger Barbs
- 3 Serpae Tetras
- 3 Giant Danios

*I'm sure a lot of people will say this tank is Overstocked, and it very well might be, but my filtration system filters a total of 800 gallons per hour and all of my systems are 3-stage systems(biological, mechanical, & chemical) so my filtration is very good and i do weekly water changes.

  • you're probably referring to my Firemouth Cichlid

  • sorry about your oscar i would be gutted if somthing happend to mine they are the best fish i have ever had , check them out on my page , i also have a silver dollar only one cos he was on his own all beat up in the pet shop but now he is doing gr8

  • yeahh it was a rough day :( and thats good to hear that you got that SD out of the pet shop and that hes going well!

  • Got rid of your oscar?

  • i wish i still had him but he has past away. back when i had him, there was a much smaller pleco in there and while i was at school one day, oscar tried eating him. the plecos protective spines got stuck deep in oscar's throat. I tried to do as much as i possibly could when i got home from school but me removing the pleco would have certainly ripped the inside of oscars mouth. in the end sadly neither fish survived. i really miss that fish its really to bad he never got to reach his full size

  • Oh i understand my oscar actually just died 3 days ago! :( I got him when he was about a inch back in august and since then grew to just under 6 inches. I just moved and when i was transporting my oscar he went crazy in the 5 gallon bucket i was transporting him in. I was driving him to my new house and I was about 5 minutes away from my new house when he had another out burst he was panicing like crazy and after slamming around in the bucket he just floated to the top and was dead. :(
