Packing for Europe - Part I

In this video I introduce the items i'll be taking with me on a 16 day hostel/backpacking trip to Ireland and Scotland in July including a brief explanation of what i'll be taking, why i'll be taking it and in what quantity i'll be packing items.

In Part II and III of this series, I look at the actual packing process and pack my main pack and my day pack. Total weight of both was just under 25 pounds and both items are carry on friendly - as I no longer check bags when traveling.

@hollywantsacracker Sandals are for the hostels. Given the number of people who walk around barefoot in cities and the amount of wanking and other activities that takes place in a hostel shower it's not exactly somewhere you want to run around with bare feet. I know several people who have picked up funky foot stuff by not wearing sandals.

you dont need a netbook, use internet cafes. and you dont need two pair of shoes. take another pair of pants dude...

@M29NT RE: Netbook. Very true, plenty of cafes around. RE: Shoes. I salsa dance. Definitely can't dance in normal shoes =) and as far as pants? That's a heck no =)
