This is the compressor deck at the ExxonMobil "Nitrogen Rejection Unit" (NRU). The Elliott-Turbo compressors "pump" nitrogen gas into existing oil wells to pressurize the remaining oil in order to force it out of the wells. The wells are old, and don't give up their oil as easily as they used to. The compressor that forces the gas into the ground operates at 2,000 pounds per square inch, at a flow of about 70 million standard cubic feet of gas per day. That's a serious compressor.
