In Cleveland, Ohio, 2005, the Steamship William G. Mather was moved from the East 9th street pier to its present berth at Dock 32 on Lake Erie. Commissioned in 1925, for fifty years the Mather was the flagship of the Cleveland-Cliffs fleet of Ore Carriers. Today she is a museum, educating visitors from around the world about our region's industrial heritage.
The ship has served a good life, it should be kept on lake erie where it is now forever, ive been to the museum several times and the ship still amazes me
