  • OR - I'm using guitar strings I've matched to the right gauge - are lap steel strings diff. to elec guitar strings? thanks again R.

  • @treborif Your guitar's scale length is important, find out what the scale is, that will tell you what gauges to use, and probably explain why strings are breaking, possibly.

I wish I could help you, but I have no idea why this would happen to your strings without knowing more info.

  • @fernandobocadillos jajajajjjajaja tio, fernando bocadillos. Si odias las octavas plutonicas y todo ese triad bullshit entonces dejate la musica directamente!!

  • Can anybody point me to any video that will teach me a small song without all this triad/cfsdgdgfrte major/ whatever it is this guy is explaining. I never took lessos, I dont know what a C6 chord is, I am filled with anger cause I barely play major chords. I dont get this!

  • what gage string do you suggest for a 6 string lap guitar?

  • I use a tuning I got from a stefan grossman guitar book years ago going, D A D F# A B. Great for Hawaiian fake stuff

  • Great demo..thanks

  • Slow down....Let us hear each note.....not so fast

  • yep - tuners batt. flat. Tuned to my keyboards and sounds 'right' - scale length is 221/2 inches - hawaii lap steel length. This tuning C9 has a real 'country' twang. R.
