The PPH Health - City of Escondido "Partnership"

These are comments made by Mayor Lori Holt Pfeiler at the Escondido City Council meeting on February 8, 2006 and more comments by the mayor and council made February 6, 2008 as the council created an ad-hoc committee.

The Mayor mentions "partnership" several times saying "the partnership is going to work" and that "we have to recognize that we are partners." She also says we have to "embrace our partnership." The Mayor also states that "there will be a lot of discussion."

Interesting that Pfeiler is leader of the ad-hoc committee that was created to meet with their partner, PPH, the first of February. And how many times has this committee met with their partner in its first almost 4 months of existence? Exactly zero! Has PPH ever come to address the Escondido City Council since they got the zoning change they wanted over 2 years ago?? No! It's tough to have a partnership when partners don't talk! Well.. it's time to start!
