More than 400,000 people are living without food security in the south of Madagascar. A long drought compromised the harvest, leaving families with less food to eat. Now, up to a quarter million children may be at risk of disease and malnutrition. And without rain, many walk 20 kilometers, or drill 100 meters down, just for safe drinking water. UNICEF
