You should get a DSi if you want to pass boredom in places you go like long lines and waiting for something. Im an avid addict of the DS and I bought 3 DSi at different time

If you want something on the go, a NIntendo DSi is fine. It doesnt have the best camera or music player but it is meant to be enjoyed with friends.
The decision will be yours if you want a DSi or a PSP as long as you are happy with it.
