A montage of clips older and in 1972 as Ali prepares for his 2nd fight with Jerry Quarry, Richie Havens provides the music. Some clips I never seen and I seen them all.

  • A lot of what Ali says in this video is very ironic ..seems he predicted his broken jaw , his daughter would go on to become a fighter when he said his son would never get in a ring and he would end up getting hurt in the ring when he said it would never happen t o him...I love Ali God bless ! He is happy and has family and people in his life who love him and a billion fans !

  • I recorded this in 1983 off a fuzzy Canadian TV channel ...Im near Rochester NY and how I got this I have no idea.I had cable at the time?..at the end the program it faded out as he got in the ring to fight Quarry

  • Easy to call him a racist now for any judgemental fool lookin to slam a hammer down and falsify the mans character like that but this man sought to instill strength pride n dignity to the black race which was still severely mistreated then...He fought for the little people, the have nots, he wanted to inspire them show them to be proud and fearless.Martin Luther King was killed and so was Malcolm X at the time...Someone in the public eye needed to get the message through and he did.

  • @loughran03 go drink ur tea jerk

  • @MrSladeTheBlade- ...I understand now, it "includes preporation" for Quarry.. thanks for posting, rare clips...

  • Several indicators place this program long after his June 1972 fight with Quarry. First, he refer's to his 1973 bout with Norton, going 10 rounds with a broken Jaw. Second, Part 2 refers to beating George Foreman to become the Champ. Also, a shiny 1974 Ford can be seen in the footage... I'm curious, where did you come up with the "prep for Quarry" thoughts?
