Thank you so much for pointing out what the video already makes abundantly clear. I'm just surprised you didn't criticize this video because it asserts that the penguin was designed by God and didn't just evolve the wings that enable it to "fly" through water.

Penguins (or to be more precise: their ancestors) have lost their ability to fly, because they do not need that feature anymore and have evoled to suit better in living in arctic region. All through natural process (which is only "mindless" in sense that is doesn't need any supernatural explanation).

And how about ostriches? How do they fly? Not very intelligent design to make bird that cannot fly :D

Since penguins feed on squid, it makes absolute sense that they were designed to "fly" through water rather than air.

And your sarcastic comment about ostriches goes both ways. If you feel the ostrich shows evidence of poor design, then I could say it also shows that evolution really made a mistake. Actually, I don't think the ostrich was poorly designed at all. Just because it doesn't fly doesn't make it a poor design.

So, Steve, it is obvious that you are a pretty unshakable creationist, seeing that you post all of these videos, but don't cite evolution as "making a mistake"...that's just stupid. Evolution does not have intent, it can not make a mistake anymore than gravity can make a mistake. It is simply a process that happens, in no particular direction and to no particular end.

They are not "poorly designed" (because they are not designed at all :)) in sense that they have adapted to their environment and are able to survive. But that's through evolutionary process, not some supernatural dude.

But ask you desinger why did he/she/it made it to be a bird, if it's clearry a non-flying land animal. He must be a real joker.
