W.A.S.P. - 05 - Hallowed Ground

Dying for the World is the tenth album by W.A.S.P., released in 2002 (see 2002 in music).
"Dying For The World" was Blackie Lawless' dedication to all those who perished in the attacks of the 9/11 events,
especially heard on the 'Hallowed Ground' track.

The album was written and recorded in less than 12 months. This is very unusual as Blackie Lawless is a perfectionist, normally taking 2 years or more to finish an album and have it recorded.

@mrrekrap1 i plan on writing a book on this tragedy. to get the stories and opinions of people who were there. would you mind participating and giving permission to be included in the credits and references? do you know others who would. it would be in writing that the lion's share would go to the 911 victims and the rest to fund research on other freelance journalism. the book would first be an ebook, reducing cost. none for me.

@Marshallsatten what was almost equally or more fucked up was bloomberg not letting the 911 reponders go to the memorial. i never wish anyone bad luck, but with his obviously totalitarian views on shit like that, and "no salt", and 1 cent per ounce tax on sugared drinks, this guy has proven he does not believe in the constitution, and needs to go get a real job and quit treating new york like his own company. i wonder if he knew that fat, salt, and sugar are essential. what a dick. your opinion?
