  • I love Robin's Theme from this album. Could you share that? Thanks!

  • Sun Ra Produced this?

  • classic !

  • GEORGE VAN LUVENDER Likes this album in Cottage #13 when he was a kid.

  • I have the single and the album; both of my pressings are on Tifton. I have one actual "Dan and Dale" album which is on Diplomat and boy, is it dull. The flip of the 45 is "Robin's Theme" and that same backing track was used for "Zap! Pow! Ee-Oww!" by the Lu Parks Singers.

  • "Dan and Dale" were, in this case, an uncredited Sun Ra and the Blues Project, with the great Al Kooper on organ. Batman really brings on da funk for this one. I also had this album when I was a kid (gives you an idea how old I am).

  • The record was supposed to be made by DAN and DALE that was the name of the band.it was recorded in nj. I also stumbled another LP made by DAN and DALE and it is my best light listening record !!!I I always listen when I go to my BARN (Blacksmith Shop)in woodstock CT.I have listen a million times and I still like it.It was made on STANDARD label in NJ.I do not have the original cover.

  • Maybe by '66 they figured to put 'stereo' on the LP cover was redundant? But they were still releasing mono LPs then weren't they? This really sounds great on that Silvertone!! It is such a find!! I love the full version of this song

  • That's outstanding, Rich! Fabulous on the Atomic Silvertone! Such Surf-y fun!!
