3:14 = awesomeness in its purest form

I was lucky enough to be there that night. I also went to the show at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis 2 weeks later, and they were amazing both times. I go to a lot of concerts, and you'd think the most famous band in the world would've started mailing it in by now. Not the case at all. They absolutely brought it. And their set list was phenomenal. They reminded me why I've been a fan since I was a kid.

The fact that people have to explain that Space Oddity is not a U2 song makes me sad.

Thanks for helping me relive the best day of my life! The concert was amazing, needless to say, but hanging out and talking to the other people in the general admission line was fun too! The guy in line right ahead of me had done GA before and told me that once you go GA, you never go back and he was right. Can't wait to do it again next tour!
Does anybody here know who made Space Oddity? It was David Bowie. I might also add that the title is a bit misleading as this is not a performance, but a broadcast of the actual song. It says "U2- Space Oddity (Intro), Even Better Than The Real Thing", but it is the real thing, only played over a loud speaker as an intro for when U2 ascends the stage. It does sound very ambient though because of the whole stage environment.

@JuniperLamplight16 If you read the description of the video (not the title), then you'll notice that David Bowie is referenced as the performer of Space Oddity. That song was the intro played as U2 entered the arena, as you mentioned. Even Better Than The Real Thing is the name of the song that U2 played live as their opening song, and it starts at 2:05 in the video. That's really the real thing.

@stickfigures10 We were in the Red Zone, and we got there around 4pm. It was an amazing concert, and we were glad to have such an incredible spot!

Amazing Video. What were you using to film this?

@6477bgwu Thanks! I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 - there's a newer version of the camera out now, though. It's a great point & shoot for both photos & HD video.
