citibank raised my rate from 8% to 30% last year on a 20k balance! i paid that sucker off as soon as i could, had no idea i could fight it... good to know for next time if ever i get into debt...

Remember... the 5th of November! I encourage everyone to take part in this. It's simple...cancel your accounts with all major banks, and trasnfer your cash to a local bank or credit union. If every member of the OWS movement, (keep in mind this has now become a worldwide protest) gets involved, it will crush the Banking industries balls!
