  • correction 7D is a high end camera not enthusiast....

  • @armaanthebatman Well personally I would call a Nikon D3s or a Canon 1D, Hassleblad's Professional High End Camera's.

There is no doubt the 7D is buit well and can be used as a professional camera, but it is there to bridge the gap, it is not a top of the line professional cameara, and this is proven in it's image quality where it cannot compete at higher iso's or functionality than a top of the line Pro camera.

Therefore I would say this is the camera for an enthusiastic / semi-pro photographer

  • Does the 1D mark 2 have auto ISO set up?

  • @3agbawi I'm sorry I don't know as I gave it back just after the video. I have a feeling it does. I'll check some time and let you know.

    Cheers.

  • sorry to desagree but the "C" modes are extremely usefull. You may save presets for specific ocasions but the main difference comes to video mode. Since the settings are totally different from stills, it takes a really long time changing everything through menu system and you may even forget something, so just having it there preseted, getting ready to shoot videos would only take a spin of the dial. On the 50D it may be an "ok" feature, but on the 7D it's definately a key feature.
