(**Originally Recorded On 12/3/2010.**.).

Another famous name in the history of sports has left us.

Felow YouTubers & sports fans, alike, I present to you my next 'Sports-related' tribute video. This is my tribute video to one of the greatest baseball players of all time, Ron Santo.

The Chicago Cubs Nation lost a legend, this morning. Ron 'The Voice Of Summer' Santo passed away around 1:40 A.M. at the age of 70. Having had diabetes, his whole life, he's gone on to a better place. (**I, personally would've preferred to see him taking his rightful & well-deserved place in the Baseball Hall-Of-Fame before he passed away, as well as many other generations of baseball fans.**.). I think that the diabetes is what finally got to him, but, we won't find out for sure what that may be until another few more days, or, so. He will be sadly missed. He is & will always be, as far as I'm concerned as pertains to his style of announcing for Chicago Cubs games, 'The Voice Of Summer'. You are what being a Chicago Cubs fan is all about.

Please check out my tribute video & please subscribe.: :)

  • We lost our Voice of the Mariners this last off-season, Mr. Dave Niehaus, RIP Dave, it's not the same without you.

  • @Speechless501

I heard about Dave dying.; That sure had to suck.

  • Very sad lost for sports fans everywhere:/

  • @Speechless501

When his number got retired, he even said "This means more to me than the Hall-Of-Fame.".; I, personally don't believe that. I believe he wanted to see the Hall-Of-Fame, shortly there-after.

  • He is in our HOF

    RIP Ronnie :(

  • @tthomaselli2 it really did. it felt like losing a member of the family!

  • @Speechless501

Same, here.; Anybody would've wanted the Hall-Of-Fame before anything else. He should've gone in many years ago, though.

  • @tthomaselli2 I have no doubt. Any ball player would want to be in the Hall-Of-Fame.

  • @TheKidComet

    Indeed.: :(
