  • I find it interesting that you don't use your ring fingers to type. Is there any particular reason you do this, or is it just a habit?

  • @MikeDiswhoibe

never been taught to touchtype so i don't position my fingers correctly. that's how i learnt to type and it works :)

  • That black bulbous red tipped thing in the foreground looks out of place in this video.

  • @didjamatic

that's a giotto air blower, usually used with camera lenses :)

  • @ItsAzureBlue It's not about the speed: it's about the feel and the sound of it =)

  • what kind of keyboard are you using in this video? i have three mechanicals, and i love all three for their different switches––it depends on what kind of mood i am.

Filco Majestouch with Cherry MX Blue switches

Unicomp Customizer 104 (Model M) with Buckling Spring Technology

Matias Tactile Pro 3.0 with Alps White (tactile) switches

Love each of these. I want to get the Deck with Cherry MX Clears. I want the actuating force to be tougher than the Browns.

  • @didjamatic looks like a douche bag

  • @crowfaceltd I agree, I didn't mean to make it sound like I was talking trash about the Filco, because it is an amazing keyboard. I tried one out and you're correct; it feels A LOT nicer. I'm definitely picking one up soon.

  • @ItsAzureBlue i have a model m; It is less about the speed of typing, but it is SO much easier. More ergonomic

  • Singapore?

  • Just to let you know, I use a generic keyboard, actually manufactured by a company called 'Trust', and I average 105wpm~ with my max, and not impossible-to-reach again max, being 124wpm.

  • Have you used a mx brown switch? If so, which do you like better. brown or blue? cuz i type the exact same speed, but use browns. kinda want to try out the leopold blues when they come out.
