Senate Grinds to Halt, Interrupts Testimony on Government Transparency

Sunlight Foundation Executive Director Ellen Miller was about to give testimony to the Senate on government transparency when all Senate activities were canceled due to failure of the unanimous consent agreement, which is usually required to conduct Senate business.

It is a gross and inept group of self perpetuating beauracratic hogs (our current dem and repub politicians) that have no desire to shrink any part of the insulated and ever expanding beurocracy. Ok, let me make something clear:

I only left my comment telling people the GOP was responsible for blocking this hearing because several people were blaming The Democratic Party for it.. If you do a little research, you can see that the GOP was actually responsible for this hearing being blocked. They used an obscure senate rule. I'm not pointing fingers or playing party politics, I'm just trying to tell the truth to people who don't know. Your comment is so rude!
